Vile Gate uses one VG ID across the studio, store, and member platform. Ordinary purchases remain ordinary purchases. Only meaningful physical editions and registered artifacts enter a permanent member collection.

Not every purchase becomes provenance.

01 / Ordinary purchase

Merchandise

Apparel, open releases, and ordinary prints can be purchased as a guest. They do not automatically become permanent records in My Collection.

Shopify order / no collection record

02 / Claimable collectible

Registered edition

Serialized physical media and selected editions may be claimed after fulfillment through a verified order, activation method, and the owner’s existing VG ID.

03 / Registry transfer

Production artifact

A unique artifact remains authoritative in the Production Artifact Registry. A validated purchase appends ownership history rather than creating a duplicate merchandise record.

02 Registration boundary

Purchase is not proof by itself.

Authoritative ownership is created only after payment state, product mapping, order identity, and eligibility have been verified by Vile Gate’s trusted backend.
